Buena Vista Campground - Fee Schedule

Campsites with utility hookups have one 30A and 50A plug-in per campsite. (Only one recreational vehicle may be hooked up to the utilities at a time. No spider boxes or trailer to trailer hookup allowed.)

Discounts

Disabled Veterans may present their Veteran’s ID Card or Letter from the Local or Federal VA Department showing “Service Connected” status, and another matching form of ID, to purchase the Lifetime Camping Pass.

If you are eligible, please contact the Parks Administration office, Camp Host, or Parks personnel prior to purchasing a campsite to set up your Senior Citizen or Disabled Citizen account, or to obtain a Disabled Veterans Lifetime Camping Pass.

Senior (age 62+) and Disabled Citizen Discount: $2.00 Discount per Campsite
Disabled Veterans & Former POWs Lifetime Camping Pass Cost: $10.00, with verifying documentation

To make a reservation and receive the Veteran's Discount for reserving a campsite, the veteran must call the Parks Admin office at 661-868-7000 or Buena Vista Gate office at 661-868-7025 to receive the discounted rate. These reservations cannot be done on-line to receive the discount.

Buena Vista Rental Trailer Program - Fee Schedule

The following campsites are available for the Rental Trailer Program and come with the listed trailer for the reservation period:

Campsite #101 – 26 Foot - 2020 Forest River Wildwood
Campsite #102 – 24 Foot - 2020 Forest River Wildwood
Campsite #103 – 24 Foot - 2020 Forest River Wildwood

For these campsites, there is a two night minimum stay required. On Holidays this requirement becomes a three night minimum stay.

No pets are allowed.

No smoking is allowed.

Renter must be 25 years of age or older.

* Note: In addition to the $30.00 cancellation fee, the total rental payment will be nonrefundable if you cancel less than 30 days prior to the reservation start date. If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to the reservation start date, you also forfeit the $250 security deposit.

Daily Fee: $7.00 per Day

If you own a Kern County All Lakes Annual Boat Permit, or if you are a dealer who owns a Kern County Dealer's Lake Permit, then you do not need to pay the daily fee.
